Our Central Functions teams


Business Services

You’ll be at the heart of the business – helping to make HORIBA MIRA more efficient and ultimately, more successful. We’re effectively a central admin team, covering a range of specialist services that affect every part of the company, from risk assessments to non-disclosure agreements. So, as well as being involved in a range of projects, you’ll enjoy the scope to influence how we do things to benefit the business.


Customer Support

You’ll often be the first contact people have with HORIBA MIRA. You’ll help us provide a reception service for all the tenants on our Technology Park, including supplying refreshments for business meetings. As a member of the team, you’ll have the flexible option of offering a remote reception service, answering phone calls from home. Although you’ll also need to be available to work on-site, for example, to support major events at the Technology Park.



In Finance, we cover a wide range of services, from payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, to general ledger and management reporting. We also play an important role in regulatory compliance. At the same time, we’re business partners to teams across the company. As the main contact with our parent company HORIBA, we add value by helping the teams create business cases for their ideas. Here you’ll find the sheer variety of our work means there’s always something new to get involved in.


Human Resources

In HR, you’ll enjoy the chance to get involved in a wide range of projects. Our specialist teams cover the full employment lifecycle, from talent attraction to areas such as improvement and global mobility. And as the business continues to develop and evolve, we’re at the forefront, ensuring we attract and retain the best people to meet our current and future needs. This means there’s never a dull moment, with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.



The majority of your work will involve providing professional support and advice on a diverse range of sophisticated, often multi-party commercial deals. This means you’ll cover a variety of business issues, from prototype vehicles to property leases on our Technology Park, or intellectual property. And, as our business continues to grow, you’ll find even more scope to influence bigger, more complex contracts.



We buy everything from stationery to major pieces of mechanical equipment and services. So, join us and you could be involved in negotiating with and selecting suppliers, and managing our relationships with them to ensure we get value for money. It’s not just about finding the best products at the best price. It’s about being adaptable problem-solvers, working with teams across HORIBA MIRA to create solutions that meet our own business needs and our customers’ evolving requirements.


Stores and Logistics

Working closely with the Procurement team, we look after logistics across HORIBA MIRA’s large Technology Park, ensuring the right equipment’s in the right place at the right time. You’ll have the opportunity to work with every area of the business. And you’ll enjoy working in a team where your voice counts, so you can suggest alternative approaches and influence how we do things.


Quality Assurance

When it comes to compliance with a range of international standards, we’re the company’s conscience. We lead a continuous improvement programme and work closely with business teams to ensure standards are embedded and colleagues can own local processes. We also work with the appropriate industry bodies to be certain of keeping our certification or accreditation. It’s about making sure we do things right, and also do the right thing. In Quality Assurance you’ll find an incredible variety of interesting and challenging work every day.


Health, Safety & Environment

We advise and support the business on all aspects of environmental, health and safety legislation, making sure all risks are considered, controlled and continuously improving. It’s vital work – by maintaining standards and safety, we protect HORIBA MIRA’s reputation for compliance and our customers can be sure we do things the right way to keep our people and our site safe. We’re a collaborative, hard-working team that shares knowledge and sets high standards, as we work for the good of our company, customers and colleagues.


IT & Software Development

We’re the team that ensures the business has the high-quality systems it needs to offer our customers the best standard of service. We design, develop, integrate and test new software systems, and act as consultants. We also maintain core business applications and databases, all to ensure every HORIBA MIRA team has the right technical capability. In our supportive and rewarding team, you’ll find a creative and demanding environment with plenty of full lifecycle software development opportunities.
